Community Reflection: Fear and Love

As I acknowledge the greatest world illusion that is called fear, I reflect upon A Course in Miracles Lesson 240. "Fear is not justified in any form. Fear is deception. It attests that you have seen yourself as you could never be and therefore look upon a world that is impossible .....Let us not be deceived today. We are the Sons (daughters also) of God. There is no fear in us, for we are each a part of Love itself." Being a part of love and not a part of fear, I can serve myself and others to reach the pinnacle of my ministry through continuous acts of loving kindness in all I encounter every day.

Supervision Skills course
Pagoda at NC wedding

In 2009, we organised a highly successful post-graduate training in Supervision Skills led by Robin Shohet. Ministers found the course immensely stimulating. Several people have requested a repeat course and if there is sufficient demand, it will run again this autumn (dates to be confirmed depending on minimum numbers). Robin is highly skilled and experienced at the Centre for Supervision and Team Development and is very familiar with our work; many people heard him lead at session at Convocation. Content, duration, format and pricing will be broadly similar to last time. Please read the 2009 information, and contact Tim if you are potentially interested.
