JustHope in the Bookstore: JustHope is a non-profit organization whose mission is to create long-term global partnerships that are committed to  combating extreme poverty and increasing global understanding. One of JustHope's programs is working with local artisans in Nicaragua to provide an alternative market for their works - jewelry, pottery, purses and other items.  The Bookstore is now featuring some of these beautiful items. For more information about JustHope and their work in Nicaragua, please visit their website at www.justhope.org.

Summer Fun and Games:  Just arrived in the Bookstore are jigsaw puzzles from Dowdle Folk Art, perfect for children or adults.  These lovely puzzles come in various numbers of pieces from 50 for the young folks to 500 for the older ones.  We are also featuring letter blocks designed by parishioner Norman Walker for summertime learning fun.

Summer Office Hours: 8:30 am - 4:30 pm Monday through Thursday and 8:30 am - 1:00 pm on Friday, between Memorial Day and Labor Day.

Theology on Tap

Tom Dahlman, facilitator

Do you have a friend who you would like to invite to church, but are not sure how they will respond?  Theology on Tap offers a non-threatening environment to talk about God and enter into community.  Every Wednesday night, beginning June 29, we will meet at 7pm at Marley's Pizza and Pub on 71st St.  This first meeting will feature Ed Roling, who will be describing his journey from the Catholic priesthood to the Episcopal Church.

Do you Bake Bread?  Trinity has welcomed visitors to our services with loaves of freshly baked bread since 2004.  Volunteers bake 5-7 small loaves of bread of their choice-yeast bread or quick bread-according to a schedule.  Typically each baker is scheduled to bake once every 10 weeks or so.  We are always seeking new bakers.  Would you like to join in helping to welcome visitors in this way?    If so, please contact Shawna Gehres at gehres@cox.net or (918) 749-2495.
