Compassionate God, whose Son Jesus wept at the grave of his friend Lazarus: Draw near to us in this time of sorrow and anguish, comfort those who mourn, strengthen those who are weary, encourage those in despair, and lead us all to fullness of life; through the same Jesus Christ, our Savior and Redeemer, who lives and reigns with you, in the unity of the Holy Spirit, God for ever and ever.

MoonJar
Lent and Stewardship and Kids
During Lent, families are invited to participate in a great introduction to stewardship for kids.  The concept involves the three ways to use your money:  spend, save and share.  To help with these we are using Moonjars.  The name Moonjar comes from the idea of Shooting for the Moon and creating Big Dreams, along with the ancient custom of placing hopes and dreams in a jar.  The money that is saved will be collected to help a family in another country purchase ducks, or a goat, or other animal.  Moonjars are available at church on Sunday.   For more information on Moonjars, click on the picture above!

From the Trinity Book Store:

I Love Jelly Belly's, You Love Jelly Belly's, All God's Chillin Love Jelly Belly's!  Now at the Bookstore, you can get your fill of Jelly Belly jelly beans and gummy bears.  We even have no-sugar varieties.  These are one of my favorite candies, despite the fact that my mother thought belly was a dirty word.  (Ever hear of a pot-stomach stove?)  Give all the varieties a try for just $1.95 a bag.

Trinity Episcopal Day School is getting new playground equipment for the small playground.  The snow removal from the roof damaged severl of the toys.  If you've seen it looking bare, know that equipment is coming soon.  Trinity Episcopal Day School has openings for infants. March 24-27 Men's and Women's Cursillo Weekend

at St. Crispins

Cursillo (coor-see'-oh) is a Spanish word which means "a short course." Cursillo is a movement within the Church which is intended to help Christians know God's love and grace and to help these same Christians discover and live out their personal vocations in the world. The movement offers small group meetings which help us in our life of Christian Ministry. The movement also includes a three day weekend during which participants listen to talks by clergy and lay persons, and participate in worship, music, fellowship, prayer and other activities.

If you are a confirmed Episcopalian 21 years of age or older, speak with your local clergy about attending a Cursillo Weekend.  The weekends are held at St. Crispin's Episcopal Conference Center, located seven miles east of Seminole on Highway 9.
