Many Faces.  One Faith.  We are First Baptist.  

You have heard this regularly from the pulpit, on our church website, and on TV commercials.  I love this saying. I love it because it is true.  It is such a blessing to minister alongside of a church family that is truly made up of so many different faces.  I love walking into your child's Sunday School class each week and seeing children of so many different nationalities.  I love hearing children talking with one another in a language I do not understand.  I love seeing children from radically different cultural backgrounds interact and learn together the greatness of God's love.  We have a great church here at First Baptist Amarillo; God is doing some amazing things here! What a blessing it is to come together each Sunday as Many Faces with one common Faith.

 

As you know, this coming Sunday is our High Attendance Sunday that we are calling Faces @ First.  We hope that you make it a priority to make sure your family is in church this week and that you invite others.  It will be a great morning to worship together as a church family!  We are hoping to have over 300 kids and teachers in the Children's Ministry this Sunday.  Make sure your child is one of the many faces that will be here.

 

Know that, as you go through your week, Sarah and I are praying for your family.  We are praying that, despite the busyness of life, you take the time to lead your children spiritually. It is such a blessing to us to be able to partner with such great parents!
