Emergency and Inclement Weather Communications
Now that the school year has begun, we'd like to share a few reminders about emergency and inclement weather communications at St. Anne's School:
- As a general rule, St. Anne's School follows Anne Arundel County Public Schools regarding school closures due to inclement weather. You may check the status of AACPS on their website, www.aacps.org.
- In the event of a school closure, delayed opening or early dismissal, this news will be posted in the announcements section of our homepage, as well as on our Facebook and Twitter accounts. An email will also be sent to you regarding the closure.
- In the event of an early dismissal, you will also be notified via our AlertNow emergency notification system. You will be notified via voice message to your home, work and/or cell phone and well as by email. You may also opt-in to receive emergency text messages.
- In the event that we do not follow AACPS regarding school closures, or if we have to close school or have a delayed opening on short notice, you will be notified via our AlertNow emergency notification system. We also use our AlertNow emergency notification system to communicate with families should an emergency arise at school.

 Annapolis Twos
Due to popular demand, we've opened up additional sections of our Annapolis Twos program. The Annapolis Twos program is offered to students who are two years old by September 1. Sessions range from 2 - 2 1/2 hours and parents can select from two or three day options. First Grade Parents Night Out
Save the Date: Friday, September 7, 6 - 10 p.m. The First Grade class (last year's Kindergarten) has earned a Parents Night Out for achieving 100% participation in last year's Annual Fund! First Grade parents are invited to drop their students (siblings included!) off for a fun night at school while parents can enjoy a night out on the town! |

Parents Association Lunch Program
We are excited to launch this year's Parents Association lunch program. The lunch program will begin in October with the following options:
- Mondays: Chicken Lunch or Main Ingredient
- Tuesdays: Deliciously Nutritious
- Wednesdays: Taco Lunch (offered every other week) or Main Ingredient
- Thursdays: Deliciously Nutritious
- Fridays: Pizza Lunch
Parents may sign up for Main Ingredient Lunches online through themainingredient.orderlunches.com. Please use our school password SASOA5. Orders for October must be placed by September 15. Ordering details for other lunches will be shared shortly.

From now until September, you may shop the Safeway 10% Goes Back to Schools promotion. For families with registered cards, this happens automatically. Families who have not registered may turn their Safeway receipts into Nancy Jones, via the Front Office.
