Buxton Initiative Fellows Visit
St. Anne's School
  Two fellows from the Buxton Initiative, an organization created to promote interfaith dialogue in a post 9/11 world, visited with our Eighth and Seventh Grade students to discuss their religions and spiritual journeys. The fellows will return later this month so our students can share what they have learned about faith and community through their Eighth Grade Capstone projects.

Reenrollment
Deadline to Return Contracts - February 14
The deadline to return reenrollment contracts is February 14. The contract states the date is February 7, but we have extended the deadline to allow families an extra week to return them.

Parent to Parent Coffee
Wednesday, February 15 - 8:15 a.m.
Stop by for our inaugural Parent to Parent Coffee hosted by the Parents Association. This is an opportunity for parents to stop in for some conversation with other parents about pertinent topics as well as our school. Each coffee will include discussion of a parenting or education based article, podcast, or webcast. At our first coffee, we will discuss Childhood is Now, an article by Pam Leo and Alive Enough, a podcast by Sherry Turkle. |
Basketball Game at Naval Academy
Celebrate our fantastic season with the Basketball Team!
All families are invited to a special Navy Men's Basketball Game on Wednesday, February 22nd. Earlier in the afternoon, our basketball teams will be scrimmaging on the court at Alumni Hall and then staying to cheer on the Naval Academy as they take on Leigh University. All St. Anne's School families are invited to come attend. Tickets are $5. If you would like to attend, please return this order form by Wednesday, February 15. |
Math Night
Thursday, February 23 - 7 p.m.
Learn how the strand of algebraic thinking is woven through our math curriculum from Preschool to Eighth Grade. Parents will have an opprotunity to experiance the activities we use to foster conceptual thinking, as well as participate in a discussion with teachers and administrators. This is an informational night for parents and childcare will be provided. Parents are welcome to bring a friend to introduce them to our program! RSVP Form |
