Giving at St. Anne's School
With contributions from parents, alumni families, grandparents and more, our community is an integral part of what makes St. Anne's School an exceptional place to learn and grow. Every day parents and volunteers are on campus donating their time and talent to make our school a better place.

In this special giving issue of The Constellation, we'd like to thank each and every one of you for being a part of community and making St. Anne's School an amazing place for our students.
African Drumming Residency
Through a grant, our Third Grade class was able to study African Drumming with Artist-In-Residence Elizabeth Melvin. This was a wonderful opportunity to connect their research of African cultures with a fun and engaging music lesson that promotes team work and collaboration.

The Gift of Experience
We've had many guest speakers this year to visit our students and share their experiences and expertise with them (visit our Photo Gallery to see who's visited this year!). This week, Mr. Lynch visited Fourth Grade to share his heritage and explain the history of the Kiowa Tribe.

Learning from primary sources, examining multiple perspectives, and being able to ask questions is very important to our curriculum. We are so grateful for the many parents and friends of the school who have visited this year!
Annual Fund Challenges
We're excited to share that our challenge grants have been extended! The Board of Trustees will continue to match new gifts - so any increase in giving from last year as well as a new gift - up to $30,000! Only $10,000 of this match remains, so make your gift today and it will make even more of a difference!

Our second challenge, the Grandparent Participation Challenge, as also been extended. Our goal is to reach 35% participation by grandparents.
St. Anne's School Regatta & Auction
Our annual Auction is a wonderful way to support the school and enjoy a fun night with friends! Save the date for this year's sailing themed Auction on Saturday, April 14, 2012.

Regatta Trivia Contest Winner & Question of the Week:

Congratulations to Sarah Pirie, the Auction trivia contest winner for January! Sarah won a burgee (nautical flag) with her family's name that will be displayed at this year's Auction. Send the correct answer to this week's trivia question to Leslie Raabe (leslie@opinionworks.com) to enter the February drawing for a FREE burgee ($50 value).

The Henley Royal Regatta is one of the largest and most popular rowing regattas in the world, held annually on which famous river?
