Empty Bowls
Thursday, January 26 - 5:30 - 7 p.m.
We will once again be hosting our annual Empty Bowls dinner, an event designed to raise awareness and financial support for food insecure members of our community. Families and members of our community are invited to come to St. Anne's School and enjoy a simple meal of soup, bread and salad. The event is part of an international effort to deepen our understanding of the the problem of hunger.

We ask for a $10 donation per guest, which is donated to the Light House Shelter, to combat hunger in our own community. Parents are encouraged to bring a salad (with dressing and serving utensils) to the event and staff members will supply cookies. This year we will have open seating from 5:30 - 7 p.m.

Volunteers are need for set up (starting at 2:00), collecting money and clean up. If you would like to volunteer, please contact Amy Byrd

Stop by for our inaugural Parent to Parent Coffee hosted by the Parents Association. This is an opportunity for parents to stop in for some conversation with other parents about pertinent topics as well as our school. Each coffee will include discussion of a parenting or education based article, podcast, or webcast. At our first coffee, we will discuss Childhood is Now, an article by Pam Leo and Alive Enough, a podcast by Sherry Turkle.
 Drive to 225 Update
Last Saturday we held our first Drive to 225
Kick Off Meeting with great success! About 20 parents came out to discuss how we can support our efforts to drive enrollment at St. Anne's School. We invite you to join us next Thursday, January 19th at 7:00 p.m. for our second meeting. We have further refined our tools and tips for talking about our school and look forward to sharing them with you!
What You Can Do to Support Our Drive to 225
  1. Attend the Kick Off Meeting Thursday January 19th at 7:00 p.m.
  2. Wear your St. Anne's School gear around town - parents at our first meeting agreed wearing our apparel is a great way to get the conversation started about our school.
  3. Stop by the Communications Office to pick up flyers and postcards.
