Ronald McDonald House Tab Collection
Two Eighth Graders, Angelica and Elon, are contributing to the Ronald McDonald House in Baltimore, Maryland for their Capstone Project this year. The Ronald McDonald House, an independent nonprofit organization, is a home away from home for seriously ill children and their families. One way to support this organization is by collecting the tabs from soda cans. The Ronald McDonald House recycles the tabs and uses the money to support families.

All you need to do is pop the tabs off soda cans and bring them to school. There is a red and white house in the front lobby where you can drop them off. We will be collecting tabs until May 31, 2012. About 1,200 tabs equal a pound, which is worth about 50 cents, so you can see we'll need lots of tabs! To learn more about Ronald McDonald House, please visit www.rmhcbaltimore.org.

Thank you so much for supporting the Ronald McDonald House!
Sports Equipment Drive
Christmas is coming and that means new gifts! But that also means there may be some gifts you're ready to through away, such as sports equipment. Don't let those good gifts go to waste - donate to our sports equipment drive! We'll take anything you can find. The donated equipment will be used during recess. The sports equipment drive will run from December 5-December 16. Items can be dropped off in the front foyer at the beginning of the day.
Kindergarten Thanks!

A big thank you to Kiara Wyatt (Morgan G.'s sister) for doing some mending and alterations on our Friendly Beasts costumes!
