Thanks to all the volunteers who helped out with the Pumpkin Patch! Our St. Anne's School designated day was rain soaked, but we still had volunteers who came out that day as well as volunteers who chipped in on other days and who helped unload pumpkins from the truck. Thanks for your support!

Deck the Halls
Preparations for Deck the Halls, an annual Parents Association effort to decorate our school for the holidays, is well underway, but the Parents Association still needs your help! If you have time, please stop by the Parents Association Room Monday or Tuesday to help prepare decorations. Read more to find out about install/take down days.
Light House Shelter Food Drive

Operation Christmas Child
Collection Week: November 14-21

Please help an Eighth Grade student fulfill part of her Capstone Project by participating in Operation Christmas Child.It is a global Christmas gift exchange project operated by Samaritan's Purse.Each November, Operation Christmas Child collects shoeboxes filled with toys, school supplies, personal items, candy, and other gifts. These boxes are then distributed as Christmas gifts to over 130 countries. Read More About How to Make a Box 

Grandfriends Day
Tuesday, Nov. 22 - Open to Kindergarten - Eighth Grade!

Grandfriends are invited to join us for continental breakfast, time for sharing, classroom visits and Thanksgiving Chapel on Tuesday, November 22. The program beings at 8:30 a.m. RSVP by November 16th to Hutchey Doley at 410.263.8650 x 116. 

Early Childhood Parent Breakfast
Friday December 2 - 8:00 a.m. and 9:00 a.m.

Mark your calendars for our Preschool and Prekindergarten Parent Breakfast!  On Friday, December 2nd , we invite parents to join us in the classroom for our Open House Breakfast from 8 -8:30 a.m. and from 9-9:30 a.m. That morning, you may drop off your child on the playground and help yourself to some goodies in the EC hallway and visit your child's classroom. Please be aware that this time is for parents, so make childcare arrangements for younger siblings.

Santa's Workshop
Saturday December 3 - 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. 

Join us for this annual St. Anne's School tradition with a new twist! This year we will be having a Breakfast with Santa, a Cake Walk and Secret Santa for Parents, all hosted by the Eighth Grade to fundraise for their legacy gift.

Breakfast with Santa: Seating is from 10-11 a.m. and 11 a.m.-noon. Pancakes, bacon ro sausage and juice will be served. Tickets are $5 per person. Please RSVP using the Breakfast with Santa form.

Cake Walk: Play to win a homemade cake from noon-2 p.m.

Parents Secret Santa Shop: Parents can shop for their children in this Secret Santa Shop. Open from 10 a.m.-2 p.m.

Parent volunteers are needed in the following areas: bake sale, raffle, registration, face painting, craft tables, decorating, photography, music tables, secret Santa workshop, set-up and take down, and of course, committee help! Sign up to volunteer 
 
Episcopal School Sunday
Sunday, December 4 - Services at 8:00, 9:15 and 11:00 a.m.

St. Anne's School is invited to participate in Episcopal School Sunday at St. Anne's Church. Families are invited to attend any of the morning services and students are encouraged to wear their formal uniforms. Students will be able to process in at the beginning of the service, as well as take on other leadership roles, such as lesson or prayer leaders. If your child would like to participate, please contact Fran Lukens

Barnes and Noble Book Fair

Join St. Anne's School at our Barnes and Noble Book Fair Wednesday, December 7 at the Annapolis Barnes and Noble. Proceeds from the Book Fair will benefit St. Anne's School.  

Annual Fund Update:
Challenges for New Gifts and Participation The Board of Trustees will match up to $30,000 of new gifts - so that's any new gift or increase in giving from last year. This challenge will end on December 31, so make your pledge today!

 

One of the founders of the school, an alumni grandparent, has challenged other grandparents to increase their participation in the Annual Fund. If grandparent participation reaches 35% by December 31, an additional $10,000 will be added to the Annual Fund!

 

Goal: $300,000
Raised: $176,000 

 

Board Participation: 100% 

Staff Participation: 100%

Parent Participation: 40%

Grandparents: 22%
