Gala Meeting Wednesday
Weigh in on this year's theme! 
The Gala Committee of the Parents Association will be meeting this Wednesday, October 19th from 2-3 p.m. in the Parents Association Room to discuss this year's theme and assign sub-committees. All are welcome to attend. We would love to have as much input as possible! 
October 21 - Special Dress Day:
Our first special dress day will be Friday, October 21. We will celebrate Diversity Awareness Month and students are invited to dress in way that represents their heritage. View all Special Dress Days

Neighborhood News

The Hillsmere annual Fun Fair will be on October 29th from 11-3. There will be games for all ages, food, book sale, a costume parade and contest. Visit our neighbor for an afternoon of fun!

"Let's Jump" Record Breaking Attempt

Record Breaking Day at
St. Anne's School

 

Take a look "inside the jump" that took place last Wednesday at St. Anne's School. We participated in "Let's Jump" an attempt to break a jumping jack world record. Led by Michelle Obama and National Geographic Kids, "Let's Jump" is a campaign to promote health and fitness to children across the country.

Strategic Planning Session

Saturday Nov. 5th, 9 - 11:30 a.m. 

The Board of Trustees is hosting an important strategic planning session to announce exciting new plans for next year and provide you with an opportunity to share your feedback. Parent participation is essential, so please plan to attend. A formal invitation will follow in the mail. 

Run for Sarah
5K Dedicated to Alum

Sunday, November 13

This year, St. Anne's School is dedicating our annual 5K Run/1 Mile Walk to Sarah McMahon (Class of 2009), who was recently diagnosed with AML, an aggressive form of leukemia. Please join the St. Anne's School community as we rally together to support Sarah. Registration will open Wednesday, October 19th. All donations will go directly to the Sarah McMahon Fund. Sarah welcomes words of support from her St. Anne's School family on her Facebook page, Support Sarah: Stand Up to Leukemia

 
Grandparent Tea
Wednesday, October 19 - 1:30 p.m. 

All St. Anne's School are invited to the Grandparents Tea with the Head of School, which will be Wednesday, October 19. Join us in the library to learn more about the dynamic school your grandchildren attend! There will be performances by St. Anne's School musical groups, as well as a discussion of our exciting curricular programs. If you know a grandparent who may be able to attend, please extend an invitation on behalf of the school.

Parent Education SeriesThe Evaluation Toolbox

All parents are invited to attend our next Parent Education Series where you can learn about the tools teachers use to assess student performance. Volunteer at Santa's Workshop!

Planning has begun for Santa's Workshop and the Parents Association would love for you to be a part of it! Parent volunteers are needed in the following areas: bake sale, raffle, registration, face painting, craft tables, decorating, photography, music tables, secret Santa workshop, set-up and take down, and of course, committee help!
