A St. Anne's Student Perspective
Dear St. Anne's School Families-
It's rewarding to track our graduates' successes, the proof of the pudding of St. Anne's School. We also see the proof of the pudding well before our students graduate. I am happy to announce that Morgan Biggs, an Eighth Grader at St. Anne's School, composed an essay on how to stop in-school bullying. Her essay was awarded first place in the Fred B. Benjamin Peace Award. When you read her essay, you understand why it won first place, winning over 400 other essays.
Morgan's essay illustrates all the benefits of a St. Anne's School education.
- Her confidence and distinctive writer's voice are powerful.
- The ideas she puts forth demonstrate her disposition to solve problems with enthusiasm and creativity.
- It's clear she has been learning in an environment centered in authentic learning situations.
- Her writing shows organization and clear development of ideas with strong vocabulary, effective sentence structure and careful editing for a polished final product.
- Her strong personal values and a desire to make the world a better place, reinforced every day at St. Anne's School, are evident in the passion of her writing.
Morgan will be sharing her essay at Middle School Chapel on Monday, September 26. We are proud of her accomplishment and gratified to see her put her exceptional St. Anne's School education to work so successfully! Read her essay on our website.
Best regards,
