March 3, 2011 - Clifton Park, NY -Thomas Pest Services recently assisted a not-for-profit agency with a pest problem. The Open Door Mission located in Glens Falls, NY needed advice and was thrilled when Thomas Pest Services immediately came to the facility to offer their expertise.
Thomas Pest Services is committed to protecting the local community against pests. Pests carry many diseases that can threaten the community and destroy property. "Most people tend to think of pest management in terms of ants, roaches and fleas, but the importance is much broader including food and health protection," said Sarah Thomas, Vice President of Thomas Pest Services.
The Open Door is a Christian Ministry dedicated to reaching out and serving the needs of the homeless and unfortunate of our community regardless of race, color, creed or sexual orientation. The Open Door serves more than 5000 meals each month, including on-site meals, distributed bagged lunches, and distributed ready-to-eat meals, distribution of gleaned and other food items to over 30 agencies and approximately 800 people in Warren, Washington, and Saratoga Counties. Executive Director of The Open Door, Chaplain Bruce D. Hersey said, "I am truly grateful for the work that Thomas Pest Services performed." Your high quality of work has gone a long way to alleviate any concerns that could possibly be attributed to pests, said Mr. Hersey"
