The WORLD IS BUILT ON KINDNESS
Chessed is a foundation of the curriculum at TAM. Students are required to participate in 30 hours of chessed projects a year.
Projects include: visiting nursing homes, working with physically and mentally challenged children, tutoring and serving as shadows for those with special needs.
TAM students also serve as Big Sisters, volunteer at hospitals and shop and cook for families, volunteer as youth group leaders, and help out at synagogues and nonprofit organizations.
The program is coordinated by Mrs. Aliza Pekier.

Kodak Moment
Each week throughout the school year, the senior class has an opportunity to interact with a variety of guests to learn about career options as well as areas of special interest.
Mr. Stu Rubner, manager of Ritz Cameras in Bay Shore, recently conducted a photography clinic, offering suggestions on how to optimize the use of their cameras.
The girls will be able to use their improved skills to create photographs for the Jewish Lens photography program next spring.
