OLAM CHESSED YIBONEH -

The WORLD IS BUILT ON KINDNESS

Chessed is a foundation of the curriculum at TAM. Students are required to participate in 30 hours of chessed projects a year.

Projects include: visiting nursing homes, working with  physically and mentally challenged children, tutoring and serving as shadows for those with special needs.

TAM students also serve as Big Sisters, volunteer at hospitals and shop and cook for families, volunteer as youth group leaders, and help out at synagogues and nonprofit organizations.

The program is coordinated by Mrs. Aliza Pekier.

SPICE UP SOMEONE'S LIFE

Want to show appreciation to your co-workers, customers or clients this gift-giving season but don't know what to give?

TAM's elegant, beautifully designed spice arrangement is the perfect gift to give this time of year. It's also an easy, non-intrusive way of helping the school raise money.

Made from high quality, exotic spices from the Spice House, the TAM Spice Arrangement comes in four arrangements, suited to every budget.

Kodak Moment

Each week throughout the school year, the senior class has an opportunity to interact with a variety of guests to learn about career options as well as areas of special interest.

Mr. Stu Rubner, manager of Ritz Cameras in Bay Shore, recently conducted a photography clinic, offering suggestions on how to optimize the use of their cameras.

The girls will be able to use their improved skills to create photographs for the Jewish Lens photography program next spring.
