Transit of Venus
The transit or passage of a planet across the face of the Sun is relatively rare. The last Venus transit we will experience in our lifetime will occur on Tuesday, June 5. Most of North and Central America, and northern South America will witness the beginning of the transit, but the Sun will set before the event ends. Track its movement here.
