Why Is He Laughing?
Is this dog happy or what? We placed him for adoption with this young couple and just look at the smile on his face when he posed for the photo. We have received more comments on our "laughing dog" than any other animal posted our our site. He is one happy pooch and we're certain he'll be smiling all the way home!

Stepping Out With My Baby in The New Year
Baby, a ten-month-old Lab Mix was adopted recently, so this New Years she will be stepping out with her new owners in Twilight City. Baby, who loves to run and play, will be one happy pooch this year. We hear repeatedly how good it makes our supporters feel to know that we find wonderful homes for the dogs and puppies in our care. We appreciate the generosity and support from the local community. Want to help? You can sponsor an animal like Baby until they are adopted for a one-time donation of $35.

Liam Is Living Large In His New King Sized Bed
Wow, this kitty is surely enjoying his life in Florida. After Leo was adopted, his new family took him for rides in the car to get him prepared for the long drive to Florida. | | Liam resting after a hard day's play. |
Even though he wasn't thrilled about the ride, he now spends his days chasing chameleons, starring down squirrels or simply ignoring the duck that hangs around the block. He has a great life and loves his "pillow" lamb for napping. |
We Still Have Some Fee Waived Cats and Dogs Shelters across the country have learned that offering some older animals free to good homes is a worthwhile project. So much so, it is endorsed by the ASPCA, as long as thorough match-making procedures exist. If you or someone you know is looking for an older, mature dog or cat, please our newsletter to them. Zack, pictured here, is only six months old and came in with his brothers and sisters. We're offering him and others like him to make room for the many kittens that are brought in every day. If you can't adopt, you can sponsor him or others on our website to help defray costs of food, medicine and shelter. |
We'd Love To Hear From You
Please Email us and let us know what you would like to see in our future editions. We're always looking for good stories and photos to include in your newsletter. Have a pet story you would like to share? Send us an email with a good photo of your pet and it may be published in a forthcoming e-news.
