Hi  ,

We have a small addition for our session tonight...we are adding the 2012 Law Changes

We realize a bunch of you weren't at your association meeting where these were covered or you haven't even heard about them. You NEED TO KNOW these.

Our regularly scheduled program The Pregame Conference will follow that.

Yes, yes, we know there is lots of football on tonight, DVR it! Bob and I will be entertaining you LIVE!

We also know the season JUST started and we already have tons of questions from you in our In Boxes. Jump in on the open Q&A Session, here's your opportunity to stop wondering and get the answers you need.

The only video we need you to watch for tonight is this one on 2012 Law Changes from US Soccer. We'll take about the practical, common sense,  applications of these changes.

For the Pregame we'll discuss why saying "OK, Let's do it" just does not work. What it takes for a good one, key components, what happens when things go south.

Here are some sample pregames you can take a look through before the session...

No one else has the perfect pregame for you. Over time, you must develop your own pregame that fits your personality, your style of refereeing and what is important to you during the game. Almost all pregames will cover similar topics.

Below are some examples we hope you will take the time to read. If you find any of the information useful that is fantastic, perhaps you'll even have a "Wow, I never thought of that" moment when reading them!

Please feel free to print them out, toss them in your bag, use them during your games, use them to make modifications to your own pregame and even hand them out to your fellow referees!

Pregame Examples

This is a discussion/narrative type of pregame.

This is a bullet/check list type of pregame

This is a longer conversational pregame.

This talks about this referee's pregame.

See you tonight!
