The Scoop
April 2012 | Edition 8

Greetings!

This week marked one of my favorite days of the year, and I don't mean Ben and Jerry's Free Cone Day (though that's a very close second.)  No, this week, we informed one very worthy nonprofit that they were chosen as the winner of our annual pro bono it Award.  It's a program that is core to who we are at C.Fox Communications and reminds me why we work so hard every day in pursuit of great things for our clients.

Have a read below for more of those "great things" including news from around the agency, some recent press features and a quick commentary on my favorite campaigns from April Fool's Day, sure to make you smile.

Enjoy,

Carrie Fox

The Texting Lane and Other April Fool's Day PR Successes

...There's a long history of companies and organizations rolling out new products or services on April 1, only to announce the hoax on the following day. But, the beauty of April Fools' Day is that it allows the organization behind the prank the ability to test what might actually be a really good idea, with an easy cover in case the idea just flat out flops.
