Customer Service from Your IT Department

more than a facade!Network Source One wants to be a highly valued partner to your business.  We have made moves in the past year to strengthen our team by adding experienced and accomplished IT professionals.  With our talented team we are able to prevent or resolve issues efficiently for you.  Just as important in our selection process were team members that have a desire to help make Network Source One one of the best companies in our industry - as viewed by our customers.  (We also hope to be one of the best companies to work for!)

But our customer service commitment goes beyond friendly service from knowledgeable people.  Any IT support company can set up a network for you that will (more or less) work.  We also help our customers address business issues related to IT that can be critical to operations or efficiency.  We have strategies for all the most common issues that may impact IT and address them with customers before there are problems.  With our diverse network of clients from small to large and covering virtually every industry, we are exposed to scenarios that most don't think of.  We also handle a wide variety of requests and are able to leverage successful strategies to benefit all customers.  Finally, we help with the strategic planning of your IT.  This includes looking 1-3 years ahead and budgeting for changes or big projects.

Customer service is an important priority to us. We value our business relationships, as well as the personal ones, that we've developed with our clients. The philosophy of "do the right thing for the customer" is preached from the top of the organization and lived out by all of us. We appreciate and encourage feedback - both positive and constructive. Positive feedback keeps the team motivated. Constructive feedback helps us identify where we can do better...and we know we can continually improve.  Thank you for your continued support!

Proactively Managing Your Computer Network

With all of the threats to your IT infrastructure and data, it's not enough to simply set up a network with a few security precautions in place and let it run.  Proactively monitoring and managing the network has become an important part of an organization's security and maintenance strategy.  We are seeing an increase in the number of problem issues with networks that are not managed.  Many companies still use the "break/fix" model to maintain their systems.  It is our recommendation that every organization needs to proactively monitor and manage their IT infrastructure.

If your organization does not have an IT staff with software to do so, NSO offers that service.  As part of a monthly support plan we monitor your entire infrastructure.  We also assess and install all Microsoft critical updates that are released, such as the "out-of-band" update that was issued a few days ago (Microsoft Security Bulletin MS12-063.  If you have machines running Internet Explorer, we recommend installing this critical patch).

We have multiple levels of plans, however, they all include 24x7 monitoring and alerting by our team.  Our new pricing structure, which will be coming out in 2013, will encourage and reward customers for allowing us to serve and protect as your "IT team" through a monthly support plan.  Please e-mail if you would like to set up a meeting to review plan options for your organization.

2013 IT Planning and Forecasts

We will be sending out 2013 IT Hardware/Software Summaries in the 4th quarter to our customers that use us as their "IT Team."  Included on the summaries are 3 years of budgetary forecasts of hardware, software and maintenance costs.

We will set up meetings to discuss any important issues or changes coming up in the new year.  If you need that discussion to take place soon, please contact Cooper at (248) 924-3871 or

If you have any suggestions for news or information that we can present in an upcoming newsletter 'memo', please let us know!

Thank you.
