attending our inaugural Catch a Rising Star event at the Edward Jones Headquarters.
We will present three Guiding Star Awards, dedicated to organizations and individuals whom we regard as having been central to our success throughout the past decade: Jackie Jones, Cannon Design, and Edward Jones.

April's Star, Gabriel N., was recognized as a very respectful student who made great improvements during the second trimester. What distinguished Gabriel as Star of the Month - and caught the attention of De La Salle guest, educational rapper, Yung Ro - was his love of writing and talent for poetry. De La Salle's "Star of the Month" Program recognizes one student each month for embodying the values of Lasallian education, including excellence both in and outside of the classroom. The Star of the Month is nominated by staff and selected by staff and students. Each month, this exemplary student is recognized during our Star of the Month breakfast or lunch celebration.
