Charitable giving can be good for your wallet, too!
One of the best ways to reduce your taxable income for 2010 - and help De La Salle Middle School as we embark on the next decade of our educational voyage - is to make a tax-deductible donation to De La Salle today.
Combined with other itemized deductions, such as your mortgage interest, your charitable gift made today to De La Salle can provide a big bonus for you when April 15, 2011 rolls around. For example, if you are in the 25% tax bracket and itemize, the actual cost of your $100 donation is only $75, after you figure in the $25 tax savings. As your income tax bracket increases, the real cost of your charitable gift decreases, so a $500 contribution, if you are in the highest bracket of 35%, would only cost you $325.
A secure online donation to De La Salle Middle School is deductible in the year in which it is made, even if you pay your credit card company after January 1.
I know it may be a busy time of the year for you, but I hope you will take a moment now to include De La Salle in your end-of-year tax savings plan by clicking here and making a tax-deductible gift of $100, $250 or $500.
Thanks to your investment, the vision of De La Salle Middle School - to make an excellent education accessible to disadvantaged youth from North St. Louis neighborhoods - will continue to be realized every day. |
