New City Manager Appointed
The City Welcomes Jennifer Cervantez

Following a comprehensive recruitment process, the Rancho Santa Margarita City Council is very pleased to announce that Jennifer Malkowski Cervantez will join the City as its third full-time City Manager. The unanimous selection of Ms. Cervantez by the four-member City Council (the fifth member, Council Member Petrilla, participated in the recruitment process prior to his deployment to Afghanistan) exemplified the dedication and collaborative process that resulted in the selection of Ms. Cervantez.

A native of Orange County, Ms. Cervantez's impressive municipal work experience includes serving the City of La Habra as Assistant City Manager, working for the City of Santa Ana and the League of California Cities. Through her leadership and guidance, Ms. Cervantez has made significant contributions in the areas of project management, negotiations, policy development and community relations. The respect she has earned is evidenced by her outstanding references and professional accolades.

A successful street maintenance program depends on your cooperation. Please remove all cars from the affected street and remain off the street until it is re-opened.
