Greetings!

As usual, things are staying busy here at Tecaboca! Much is planned for this year: retreats, Boys Camp, LIFE, a water storage project, and other important facility upkeep projects.

The Board continues working on a strategic plan to guide Tecaboca through the next ten years.

Please read on to see what is coming up in the first part of the year. If you'd like a complete listing of all retreats and programs being offered at Tecaboca this year, download the calendar here:

Women's Retreat

 February 17-19, 2012

The Cup of Life

Life is often compared to a cup. Some are half full, others half empty. Some cups are a little cracked, some almost shattered. A few cups are striking in their beauty while others bring comfort by their simplicity. Come join us for the Women's Retreat  where we will use this metaphor of a cup for examining how God is at work in our lives. So grab your favorite cup or mug and join us for a weekend of prayer, small group sharing, liturgy and lots of laughter!

Growing in the Virtues of Jesus

Weekend Retreat

for Men and Women

April 20-22, 2012

Presenters Melba Fisher and Fr. George Montague, S.M. will guide participants through reflection, discussion, and prayer. Mrs. Fisher and Fr. George present the virtues in three phases: preparation, purification, and being consumed by the love of God. Using the book, Growing in the Virtues of Jesus, by Fr. Quentin Hakenewerth, S.M., the retreat is based on a lay person's understanding of the virtues and their practical applications for taking on the mind and heart of Jesus in our lives, in whatever our circumstances, profession, or state of life.

Includes retreat program, book "Growing in the Virtues of Jesus," meals, and accommodations.

$120 per person, double occupancy, $160 single occupancy

All rooms have a sink; community shower is available on the hall.

Please let us know ahead of time if you have mobility needs.

We have limited space on the ground floor.

FINANCIAL SUPPORT

MONTHLY DONORS -
Julia and Phil Hamon, Pat and Jim Klaus

QUARTERLY DONOR - John Aguillard

It is always a good time to show your support of Tecaboca financially. Roughly one fifth of our operating budget comes from donations by individuals and grants. If everyone who crossed the waters of Johnson Creek  in a year gave an additonal $20, this money would be raised. If many contribute, a relatively small amount makes a big difference in meeting the mission of Tecaboca to bring God's voice to His people. Donate online http://www.tecaboca.com/Donations.html, or by sending a check to 5045 Junction Highway, Mountain Home, TX 78058.
