 Cross photoGreetings!

Tecaboca is planning for a full summer of Family Retreats, Boys Camp, Retreat Groups, and Marianist Life. We have openings in Family Retreats and Boys Camp, so sign up soon! Marianist Life information is through their website at http://campus.udayton.edu/~LIFE/index.htm. Youth may become involved in this excellent program through many parishes and Catholic High Schools. Check to see if your parish or school is a part of this wonderful year round program, and encourage them to inquire about it if they aren't already part of this.

Boys Camp and Family Retreat Registration forms are available online at www.tecaboca.com.

In this issue, you will see that we have a great new way to remember your time at Tecaboca, with the purchase of a sterling silver cross, a replica of the center of the wooden, carved cross at Tecaboca. This will not only make a great keepsake of your memories here, but profits will go to a special Jimmy Blevins Fund, which will be dedicated to furthering the mission of Tecaboca through Boys Camp, Family Programs, and Youth Programs.

Many Blessings to you and your family, and we hope that Tecaboca remains in your prayers.

Sterling Silver Cross Pendant Now Available
Several years ago, Tecaboca was blessed with the arrival of a beautiful carved wooden cross by artist and Tecaboca-ian Erin McGinnis. Since late 2001, this Cross has stood silhouetted against the limestone cliff in memory of former camper and kitchen staff member, Jimmy Blevins, who died in a car accident in the Spring of 2001. Here,  Jimmy would sit to contemplate the awesome presence of God, knowing that he was in God's arms, and listening to hear God's heartbeat in the way possible at Tecaboca.

The middle portion of the cross has been cast in a JIm Morriss Jewelry Sterling Silver Cross. Ms. McGinnis has kindly granted permission for all proceeds earned from the sale of this cross to go toward the Jimmy Blevins Fund. This fund will be used to further the mission of Tecaboca, serving youth and families in a manner to bring them into closer communion with God. The Cross is roughly 1.25 inches by 1.25 inches in size, and costs, $40, with $3.00 added for shipping and handling. We will be placing our first order on April 30, with summer delivery.  Download an order form from our website and send it in by April 30, 2010, to reserve your cross.
