Thanks for the Help
March, 2010

As a Friend of Tecaboca, welcome to our first email newsletter. We hope this finds you well, and finding time to go back in your mind to those wonderful days at Tecaboca. It might have been last month, last year, or several years ago that you were were here! Whenever that was, we hope that those memories get you through your tough days now, as you think back to those relaxing days, those special moments, back in Tecaboca Time.

Boys Camp Registration is OPEN!
Archery Don't Wait!
If you were a camper, you know how great a summer at Tecaboca can be. Don't let that special boy in your family miss out! Space is limited this summer...don't be the one that misses your chance at Camp! We have added flyfishing and dutch oven cooking to our already full day of activities, and have hired some great young men to lead our campers. We are putting in a GaGa circle. If you don't know what that game is...you'll have to sign up for Camp to be part of the first class of Ga Ga Champs. It is an unbelievably fun game to test your reaction time and skills. And, be the first group to initiate the new riding arena. It will be installed in the next few months for our riding lessons, before boys are let out for trail rides.

First session is June 20-July 3 and Second Session is July 4-July 17. Go to www.tecaboca.com to get a registration form. There is still a $100 discount to those registering before April 15.

If you would like to promote Tecaboca in your community by posting information in your church bulletin, school newsletter, or other information dissemination method, please call or email Kay Tally-Foos, 830-866-3425, or director@tecaboca.com

We've had a very cold winter at Tecaboca, but all of the groups that have participated have stayed warm, and left with the typical warm feelings toward this sacred place. Many projects are in motion for the spring, and our weekends are nearly full. There are still a few open dates, one the weekend of March 26, all of Camp, and April 22 at the Main House.  If you know of a group needing space, tell them to give us a call!

We still need a few more young men to fill our summer staff positions. If you know a gentleman who would like to be part of something special this summer...have him give us a call.

Blessings,

Kay Tally-Foos
