Revisions Made to Site Visit Report Based on Your Feedback!
New Format Goes Into Effect January 1, 2011
Thanks to your feedback, the Site Visit Report underwent a revision, making it more user friendly. After its use in more than 78 site visits, improvements have been made.
The most popular suggestion and the biggest change is the addition of a column to the far left of the report that contains the 'Standard' reference.
Effective January 1, site visitors are required to use the revised version. You will receive a copy of it along with the other site visit material when a site visit is confirmed. The Site Visit Report is now available here.
Webinar Series Available to View and Test your Knowledge
As a site visitor you are required to stay current with CoAEMSP's interpretations of the CAAHEP Standards. A series of webinars is available for you to review, along with post-tests to check your knowledge.
The webinars cover topics including Standards interpretations on the Program Directors qualifications, clerical support, preceptors, medical director responsibilities, and validity & reliability; the site visit report format; and changes that have taken place over the last year-and-a-half.
Access the webinars here. You will receive an email with your username and password. If you do not receive this email, contact Jennifer (817.330.0080 ext 114, email@example.com).

New Year's Resolution: Read the Interpretations & View the Webinars!
According to Wikipedia, a New Year's resolution is a commitment that an individual makes to a project or the reforming of a habit, often a lifestyle change that is generally interpreted as advantageous.
As a site visitor you are required to stay current with CoAEMSP's interpretations of the CAAHEP Standards. This is a good time to renew your commitment as a CoAEMSP site visitor by 1) re-reading the Standards Interpretations, 2) watching the webinars, 3) completing the post-tests, 4) confirming you have the most current Site Visitor Manual, Site Visit Report, and Expense Report, and 5) asking questions on topics you are unclear about.

New Name Badges Are On Their Way
Make Sure We Have Your Headshot Photo!
New name badges have been designed, which include your name, credentials, and headshot photo. When you confirm to conduct a site visit, a name badge will be ordered. This name badge will become the permanent badge that you will need to keep.
If you have not provided CoAEMSP a headshot, please send one to firstname.lastname@example.org. The headshot may be taken with any camera and should be a head-to-shoulder shot.
Site Visit Report Signature Page No Longer Required
You are no longer required to mail the signature page of the Site Visit Report (SVR). The process of submitting the SVR, and participating in and approving the draft Findings Letter, as a site visitor you agree with the SVR.
The Executive Office staff at the CoAEMSP extends sincere wishes to all of you for a joyous and memorable holiday season.
Thank you for your continued support and dedication to EMS!
