All across America, many companies and corporations are choosing to become actively involved in improving their communities. And, local Las Vegas companies are no exception - in fact many are encouraging volunteerism and philanthropy with unique employee **rewards** programs.
Companies like NV Energy, Walmart, and Zappos.com often provide employees with compensated time off to volunteer at company sponsored as well as independant events.
And, some companies even allow their employees to direct a donation tied to their service hours to the organization (think GTSF!) of their choice.
what does it all mean?
- You can help your community and have fun, and perhaps, even do it while still on the clock!
- The organization you help not only benefits from your personal assistance, but might also benefit financially through a directed donation from your company tied to your gift of time!
- You (and your company) help make the community a better place to live, and that's good for all of us!
it's a no brainer
Get started today! Check with your employer and learn which volunteer options are available to you and other employees. Then, get involved and make a difference! |
