Greetings!
the GTSF family The Goodie Two Shoes Foundation began when a family decided to help the community, and their friends and family members pitched in to help. Today, many of those same friends and family members are still with us, and we've picked up some friends along the way! From interns to volunteers, supporters to staff, we've grown tremendously over the past nine years, and we're proud to call them a part of the GTSF family!
From our family to yours,
Happy Holidays!

enrollment in free/reduced lunch program on the rise due to economy
| Nevada is all too familiar with the effects of the nation's collapsed economy. With an unemployment rate of 13.6%, many Nevada residents are looking to assistance programs, such as the Federal Free or Reduced Lunch Program, to help make ends meet. The New York Times reports that "an additional 15,000 CCSD students joined the subsidized lunch program this fall," bringing total program enrollment to 55% county wide. Click HERE to read more.
The Goodie Two Shoes Foundation strictly monitors program participants to ensure our services are reaching those most in need. Participating schools qualify for GTSF services based on the percentage of students enrolled in the federal Free or Reduced Lunch Program. |
