FOCUS ON ARTS GALA

Mission Statement Excerpt

WHEN: THURSDAY, MARCH 15th
            6:00pm - 9:00pm
WHERE: Etiwanda Gardens
             7576 Etiwanda Ave.
             Etiwanda, CA 91739

Keeping true to our Mission Statement VSPA has been providing classes to families that are experiencing financial hardships or would not be able to take classes otherwise.  We have not made this public over the years because these are circumstances that are brought to us by families that would not want it to be know to the general public nor to their children that they are unable to afford classes or are given "scholarship".  These families have been laid off, had a death or serious injury to their immediate family and other strenuous hardships.  The intent of offering these classes to our families is to ensure that their children are getting the opportunity to take music, dance or theater classes to enrich their education and family life.

Last year VSPA gave scholarships of approximately $14,000 worth of instruction to our families.  From a personal standpoint, we are ecstatic that we were able to provide this to our VSPA families.  It's what we aim to do for our community.  From a business standpoint, if we want to continue to do this we need to make it financially viable without causing detriment to the school.

Herein lies the need for the "Focus on Arts" Gala.  We have assembled a team of volunteers and sponsors that are helping us put together this event.  But WE NEED YOU TO ATTEND.  VSPA has also set up its non-profit to help support this need.

"Focus on Arts" is a family dinner event.
$60 for Adults, ($32.67 tax deductible) $35.00 for Children ($13.19 tax deductible). The evening will include Dinner, Entertainment, a Silent Auction, and Fun with Friends. All the entertainment provided will be by VSPA Students and Staff.  All profit from the tickets and silent auction will support the "Focus on Arts" Fund.  What is raised from the gala will directly support families in need.  Please support this cause.  RSVP TODAY!
