Greetings!

This week, I wanted to share a few important items with you:

Merger Talks, What YOU Can Do NOW...Educate!

Educating each other and our cohort of Flight Attendants at United about the value of our flexible work rules, elevated pay scale and our culture of taking care of each other will go a long way when it comes time to renegotiate a new "merger contract."  Industry comparison charts are available for you to pickup at the Union desk in the crew room.

Keep it Out of Management's Hands -- Professional Standards Committee

To the outside world, the job we do is thought of as "living the dream."  In today's environment we have to care for each other even when we feel no one cares about us.

A Union administered program called the Professional Standards Committee is an anonymous way to communicate with your fellow crew members and keep concerns out of management's hands.  If you have an issue, concern or dispute with another crew member, consider calling a trained representative from the Professional Standards Committee to report your concern or schedule a time to meet and resolve your conflict before it becomes an issue with management.  This is our effort to reduce company sanctioned discipline upon our Union members and ensure a strong working relationship between us.

Below you will find contact information for the Professional Standards Committee:
