Question:
Diana help! I seem to be double entering my vendor bills. Some of the vendor bills were run through accounts payable and some were entered as checks. How do I fix this problem?

Answer:
You will have to go into the checking register and delete the checks.  Then you will need to go into Vendor, Pay Bills and pay the bills. Remember to use the correct check numbers and dates. I always try to run vendor bills through accounts payable. If I accidently delete the vendor payment, the "bill" will go back into accounts payable to be used again. You can "reconcile" these checks with the following months data.
