Hello Friend of Kelmann,

Now that summer has arrived, we hope that you find plenty of time to enjoy the warm Wisconsin weather. Summer brings challenges though. You may have noticed a rash of house fires in the news lately. While typically thought of as a wintertime hazard, house fires are very common during the summer months as well. Outdoor grilling is a major culprit. So when enjoying your brats & burgers, remember: Let's be careful out there! Safety first! Now  read on - see what we're up to at Kelmann this summer.

Did You Know? Kelmann Beginnings
Moving
You probably don't know that Kelmann's origins are in moving houses. Yes, we moved houses around Milwaukee way back in the 70's. Since our founding in 1973, Kelmann has always displayed a wide range of expertise and diversity. This home was being transported from a site just next door to the current MillerCoors headquarters. Ahhh.... the good old days. Transporting large buildings throughout major metropolitan roadways. Always a very moving experience.

Employees of the Month
Lamone
In this month's Connection we introduce you to two valued Kelmann Employees of the Month. May's EOTM, Lamone Egerson, is a member of Kelmann's Emergency Response Team. A six year team member, Lamone recently discovered some misplaced currency while on a financial institutions water damage job. He immediately notified a VERY grateful supervisor. "That's just typical Lamone", said VP of Operations Dick Drew. "His terrific work ethic and positive disposition are contagious."
Bill Oakes, June's EOTM has been with Kelmann since 2002. Bill is one of the Emergency Response Team's First Responders. On call 24 /7 to respond to emergency situations, he is the consummate professional. His calm demeanor and "can do" attitude are traits that make him a special person to those in sometimes desperate, situations. Last month, Bill helped a fellow parishioner at his church. Upon leaning that she had a property fire, Bill guided her through the process of securing and restoring her property. As was stated by one of his recent customers, "Bill is one in a million". Congratulations to both Lamone & Bill!
