Tweeting, Blogging & Liking.
How our methods of communication have changed over just the past decade. What and why are common questions with respect to a variety of social media at our disposal. Fact is, restoration contractors have a lot of "old school" in them. They swing hammers, they don't tweet. They dry buildings, they don't blog. Like us? Of course you do. And what in the world is an RSS? At Kelmann Property Restoration we have embraced a number of social media platforms. We blog, tweet & post on Facebook. We understand that communicating regularly to our business colleagues, while utilizing the most up to date resources, is an important part of contemporary business culture. And we communicate much like we perform our restoration work; with purpose and efficiently. So what's next? Don't be surprised if you see a Kelmann online newspaper or smart phone app down the road. In the meantime, why don't you click here and "Like" us on Facebook. Jump on the bandwagon.

Save Money with a Filter Change

Maintaining the filter on your air conditioning and heating equipment isn't fun or glamorous. So why bother? Because a clean filter allows for proper air flow, and that makes the equipment run efficiently, saving you money. Also, a clean filter helps your system perform better, so your home environment will feel more comfortable.
And because a dirty filter restricts air flow and can make a heating unit overheat or an A/C unit freeze up, maintaining the filter helps you avoid a service call.
Filters come in various types, so take a look at your equipment. If you have a cleanable filter, note on your calendar when cleaning is due. Otherwise, buy an appropriate replacement filter to have on hand when you need it. Filters are inexpensive and should be changed or cleaned when they are visibly dirty. When you do change the filter, note the directional arrows on the side. Place the filter so that the arrows point in the direction of air flow.

Kelmann Employee of the Month
K elmann's long time team member, Dan Zimmerman is our on-site project manager at the St. Alphonsus Church and School project. On Christmas Day morning, the parish suffered a large fire that caused extensive damage to the sanctuary, school and adjoining areas. Working within a project such as this, Dan deals with a variety of unique issues. Board and congregation members as well as church and school staff all have specific needs which must be addressed. Dan is at his best when dealing in this type of venue. His "can do" attitude, quick problem solving as well as his ever present smile are attributes that Dan exhibits on a daily basis. Congratulations to Dan Zimmerman, Kelmann's March 2012 Employee of the Month! |
