Hello Friend of Kelmann!

Where has the year gone?  With a little less than a month left, it seems like the time to reflect on the good things that 2011 presented. This year we are especially thankful for all of the business relationships we have, both new and old. From our clients, colleagues and subcontractors to our property management and insurance professional friends, we appreciate the trust they have shown in the people at Kelmann. While the market and economy may wildly fluctuate, what remains unwavering are the strong relationships we have built over the past 39 years. With that said, we look forward to a bright and fruitful 2012!  Now if you have a few moments, read on and see what's happening at Kelmann Property Restoration.

Customer Surveys to Benefit WAFS Camp
WAFS Caring for and working with our community has always been extremely important at Kelmann. Last month, we added a new program that will benefit the Wisconsin Alliance for Fire Safety's Summer Camp for Burn Injured Youth. It's simple: we ask our customers to complete a brief survey about their experience with Kelmann and for each returned survey, we will make a $5Summer Burn Camp.00 donation to the Summer Camp. We are expecting to be able to make a generous donation next summer! Our on-line survey, coming soon, will also be included in the donation program. For more information about the Wisconsin Alliance for Fire Safety and the Summer Camp for Burn Injured Youth, go to WAFS.org.

Have You Winterized Your Hose Bib?

Hose Bib Each spring , Kelmann Property Restoration provides mitigation services to homeowners who encounter a wet basement following the inaugural use of their exterior hose bib. When a hose bib is not properly winterized, residual water in the line can freeze over the winter, causing cracking of fittings and pipes that will result in significant water damage when the hose bib is turned on for use the following season.

As winter's deep freeze looms, remember to perform annual maintenance of your exterior hose bib to avoid an unwelcome springtime surprise!

To winterize your hose bid, proceed as follows. Remove, drain, and store hoses. Close inside valves supplying outdoor hose bibs. Open the outside hose bibs to allow water to drain. Keep the outside valve open so that any water remaining in the pipe can expand without causing the pipe to break.

Of course, if you do ever encounter water damage, don't hesitate to call us. Kelmann Property Restoration remains ready, willing and able to help, 24/7/365.
