Happy New Year!   A Year of Blessings in Review
God has blessed Good News TV (GNTV) abundantly in 2009!  As we head into an exciting new year of miracles and challenges, we want to share some of the many ways He has led thus far.

GNTV went on the air on March 27th, just as the Sabbath was approaching. Gabe was at KPHE (the station we lease the channel from) and Luke was at the  GNTV station on the campus of Thunderbird Adventist Academy (TAA).  The very first images to blanket Phoenix, was of a tiny child playing the piano, joyfully belting out, "Savior Like A Shepherd Lead Us".  As Luke watched, tears welled up as he dropped to his knees in thanks to our Saviour, Who had truly lead GNTV through months of challenges, prayer, and hard work.  Since then, He has continued to lead in a whirlwind of activity.

In May GNTV received funding to cover costs for the first 6 months of channel leasing from the Pacific Union Conference Creative Evangelism Fund. Volunteers at AZ State Fair booth

In June GNTV broadcast the Arizona Campmeeting from the cool pines of Prescott producing daily highlights, such as youth activities, guest speaker interviews, and camper testimonies.

In July GNTV broadcast its first live, 3-week Prophecy Seminar from Camelback Church, preached by two vibrant ASI Youth For Jesus young people. Many baptisms followed during a final celebration hosted by Doug Batchelor that was produced and broadcast LIVE via 3ABN around the world.

Viewer Comments
Viewers have called in with many positive comments.  A common theme is ... "I love this channel!"  "It's no accident that I found your station."  "My eyes have been opened!" and "... outstanding and different from other channels."  A viewer called in at 3am.  As a result, she attended the "Depression:  The Way Out" seminar at the Paradise Valley Church.  She has been watching for several months and is taking Bible studies.  She says that after 53 years of searching she recognizes Bible truth and is excited about her upcoming baptism.

Volunteer Spotlight:  Jeremy Huss
Jeremy Huss adjusting cameraWhile a student at Thunderbird Adventist Academy, Jeremy Huss  had an interest in video production.  He approached Luke Skelton, video ministry leader at Camelback Church, to volunteer his talents at their local church.  Soon, he went from camera work to directing worship service recordings.  Now a graduate of TAA, Jeremy has spent countless volunteer hours helping GNTV at promotional venues, editing public service announcements, and directing/producing weekly local programs.  As an avid runner, biker, and mission-minded young man, he plans to pursue a degree in broadcast engineering.  We praise God for sparing Jeremy's life through two recent accidents--he was injured when a car forced him off the road, barely missing his bike, and later in a severe, roll-over car accident.
GNTV, a 40% Return On Investment
Are you looking for a good investment with high yields and eternal benefits?  How does a 40% ROI sound?  Our sister-ministry, Oregon-based Better Life TV has shown a 40% increase in new church memberships in communities that air their channel.  This can happen in Arizona, but we need YOUR help.  Thank you for prayerfully considering a special, tax-deductible gift or a monthly pledge to Good News TV.  To partner with us in reaching souls for Christ, call us for details and may God bless you.  To learn more, CLICK HERE.
