 'Lunch on the Move' Provides Meal and Fitness Activities for Kids During the Summer


  Deep Fork Community Action Foundation is collaborating with the Okmulgee Wellness Coalition to provide kids with nutritious meals and then get them moving for their health.

 INCA Leads Recovery Effort for
Tornado Victims in Atoka County


  A year ago tornados slashed through Atoka County destroying 149 homes and businesses. INCA Community Services took the lead in coordinating a donation funded recovery effort. A year later the Atoka County Tornado Organization for Recovery has helped 113 families.

'Celebration of Light' Provides Child Abuse and Sexual Assault Awareness


  The Court Appointed Special Advocates program at Little Dixie Community Action Agency partnered with the Choctaw Nation Voice 4 Survivors for an art show as part of a Celebration of Light during Child Abuse and Sexual Awareness Month.

 Head Start Trike-A-Thon Raises Funds for
Pediatric Cancer Research Hospital


  Children from the Big Five Community Services Head Start center in Durant raised $689 for the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital while learning about riding toy safety during a Trike-A-Thon during the Week of the Young Child.
