Jenny Scordamaglia is a well recognized TV Host and communicator. At only 21 she was awarded in 2009 as best upcoming TV Host in the American Airlines Arena with the "Aguila de Cristal" by International Network "Caracol". Host of international hits like "Miami Caliente", "Cancun Caliente" & "Jenny Live" with more than 200 TV shows. Chosen as the face of Miami & FL by "Comcast" to represent South Florida's attractions nationwide through XFinity. Spokesperson and actual Vice President of International Channel "Miami TV" spreading a Different concept of communication with a positive message and lifestyle.

Special Screening to Benefit
ACS/Relay For Life 
The Special Screening of "Ghost Player" will take place April 13th at JC Bermudez Park at 10pm, 3000 NW 87th Avenue in The City of Doral. The documentary GHOST PLAYER chronicles the adventures and misadventures of an unlikely team of middle aged baseball players. In 1989, Hollywood shot the movie FIELD of DREAMS in Iowa. Little did anyone know this blockbuster would spawn a comedic baseball show that would have an 18-year run and travel the world. "Ghost Player" (ghostplayer.us)
was screened at DocMiami 2011 and was also nominated for "Most Entertaining Documentary. In 2010, DocMiami donated proceeds from the documentary MY RUN narrated by Billy Bob Thornton (myrunmovie.com Now Available on DVD) and in 2011, DocMiami donated all proceeds from the screening of "Boardheads" (boardheadsfilm.com). All proceeds from this special screening of GHOST PLAYER will also be donated to the American Cancer Society - Doral Relay For Life.

Art For a Cause
On March 31, 2012 DocMiami International Film Festival participated in its first fundraising event for the American Cancer Society/Relay For Life. The event took place at Art Shack Miami, 9831 NW 58 St. in Doral and was hosted by Art Shack director, Laura Tobi Carcano and co-sponsored by Atrium Office Park.  Participants where able to create various forms of art such as: "cartooning"
with the assistance of professional cartoonist Manny Aguilera as well as sculptures, collages, origami and more. All proceeds from the event also benefited the American Cancer Society.

In celebration of Miami Film Month, the DocMiami International Film Festival in Partnership with the Greater Miami Convention & Visitors Bureau and MDC-Tower Theater/MIFF united to present the film Bob Marley: The Making of a Legend.
The guest of honor, filmmaker and star of the film Esther Anderson was present for this special screening and took part in a Q & A Session after the film. Ms. Aderson was introduced to the audience by guest speaker Elliott Jones,  Director of Community Engagement for the Miami Children's Initiative who is also the grandson of the beloved poet, Dr. Maya Angelou. Prior to the screening the audience enjoyed a Whitney Houston Tribute by youth singers "The Voices of Inspiration"
directed by Anita Edwards as part of the DocMiami International Film Festival "Save the Arts in Public Schools" initiative. The special tribute was followed by an amazing performance by music group "Reggae Force" led by Aston Barrett Jr., son of Aston Barrett who played with Bob Marley and the Wailers. "Reggae Force" performed alongside Prince Emmanuel Abderele of Nigeria, a visiting artist to Osun's Village Miami and African Caribbean Cultural art Coriddor Miami. Special guests included Jamaican Consul General, Mrs. Sandra Grant Griffith and 2012 African-American Achiever's nominee, Chief Nathaniel B.
