Welcome! I hope your school year is off to a wonderful start.  It has been quite a flurry of activity these last two weeks.

I would like to introduce the new Parents Association Board Members:

• Mandy Capel - VP of Lower School (Connor - 3rd, Brady - EC)

• Stephanie Maley - Secretary (Jonathan - 3rd, Patrick - 2nd)

We are all excited and honored to be serving as the AOAPA board members.  This newsletter will be coming to you monthly, usually on the 3rd Wednesday of the month. 

Uniform Swap

Earlier this month we held our Uniform Swap. The clothing exchange brought in $886.00! Thanks to Janie Linabarger for heading it up and all of the other volunteers and staff that helped run the swap.  We plan to have another Uniform Swap mid-year, so gather any gently worn uniform clothes (no rips or stains please) over the next few months - and stay tuned!  If you need any items before then, contact Janie at linabarger@sbcglobal.net and she can tell you what items we have in storage.
  
First Meeting

All parents and guardians are members of the Parents Association and we would love to see you at our first meeting on Tuesday, October 23rd, at 6:30 p.m. in the Community Room of the Osborne Building.  We will share all of our plans for the year and vote on our new by-laws and budget.
