A Message From Our Head of School

Dear Parents,

T
hank you for your attendance at the annual Ice Cream Social this past week. I also want to thank you for a great "first day" of school. Even with all of the new students, the first day really was another great beginning. The students are excited to be back and we are very fortunate to have over 110 new students and families join our community.

Please remember that the main circle in front of the Osborne Building is not an area to leave your vehicle either in the morning or after school. This is an area where busses drop off and pick up students. You can drop your child off in the morning, but do not park in this area at the end of the day to pick up your child.

Many parents of Lower School students asked if an after school sports skills program could be offered. As a result of a survey sent out in May, we will offer a program for students in grades K-5. Students in grades K-2 can attend on Wednesday's, and students in grades 3-5 can attend Tuesday and Thursday. The program and information regarding fees can be found on the website, which is also where you can register your child. There will be a fall, winter, and spring session. The program will begin the week of September 17th.

Don't forget to check out our calendar of events weekly in the E-Newsletter. Next week student pictures will be taken. All of our fall sports teams are in action and would appreciate your support at the games.

Don't hesitate to contact anyone at the school if you have questions, especially if you are a new family. Many times parents don't want to ask questions because they believe the question might be trivial. It's better to ask then be in doubt.

Have a great weekend and week ahead.

Chuck Roman
