February is in full swing and it finally looks like winter outside for at least a few hours. I am sure the ski club participants are happy about that. Below are just a few reminders and a few thank you's.

Nomination's for next year's AOAPA Executive Board and committee chairs are due on Thursday, March 1st. Take a moment to download the form and email it back. Nominate yourself or another parent; there are lots of talented people in our parent community. The nomination form is attached HERE and is available in the AOAPA section of the AOA website.   Elections will take place in April and the new Board will start in June.

Join us for a condensed version of the AOA Parents Association Meeting next Tuesday, February 21st at 6:30 p.m. in the Auditorium, right before the start of the Middle/Upper Preview Night. It will be short and informative.

A belated thank you to parents Sonja Marusic (Alec, 6th grade), Alison Ryan (Daniel, 6th grade) and Christie Gound (Isabel, 1st grade) for all the hard work in coordinating and assembling the fabulous AOAPA Holiday gift that was given to the AOA staff in December on behalf of all parents. The homemade Amish bread and jam were an outstanding hit!

Thank you's also go to Jennifer Veselko (Natalie, 1st grade) and Denise Mooney (Bailey, 6th and Madison, 9th grade) for co-chairing this year's Cinderella Ball. The numbers exceeded last year's attendance and the new venue at Manakiki  Country Club was beautiful. The young ladies could not have been more beautiful and their escorts were dashing. Thanks to all the other mothers who helped behind the scenes as well.
