Parent Annual Giving Phonathon

Calling all parents! We need you.

Want to get together with fellow parents, have some food, drinks and fun, all while supporting AOA?

Parent volunteers are needed Sunday, November 6th, from 12:30-5 p.m. and/or Monday, November 7th, from 5-9 p.m. for the parent's annual giving phonathon. We appreciate any help you can offer; a partial shift is ok. Your support in calling fellow parents is key to making the parent's annual giving campaign a success, a vital component to AOA's financial health.

We promise a fun, low pressure, low stress phonathon! For more information or to volunteer, please contact our Director of Development, Sue Leahey, at 440-942-3600 ext. 235 or at
sleahey@andrewosborne.org.

Mobile Alerts

AOA has secured a new product that will allow us to send mobile text alerts for various activities, events, school closures, etc. All of the parent cell phone numbers that were supplied to us have been preloaded and tested via the AOA School Closing Alert system.  If you provided a cell phone number on your enrollment forms, you should have received a text alert yesterday.

Those who have provided a cell phone number will receive a text alert when the school is closed due to inclement weather. Those who choose to opt out may do so. Those parents who have not provided a cell phone number may go to the web address listed below to sign up for the service.

We will also have several other mobile alert groupings. One is for announcements and reminders about school events such as parent conferences, concerts, activities, etc. You must sign up separately to receive these alerts. We respect "communication overload" and do not want our constituents to feel they are receiving too many text messages. They may opt into the service below.

We will also have a Boarding Student Information mobile alert. This will be for boarding students only and will be used by our Residential Life staff to notify students of activities and events.

We are really excited to be able to offer this new communication tool to our Faculty, Staff, Students and Parents. We hope you find it useful. Please direct any questions to Michelle Rowley at mrowley@andrewsosborne.org or at 440-942-3600 ext. 120.

Father & Son Sports Spectacular: registration extended!

The registration deadline for the Father & Son Sports Spectacular has been extended to Wednesday, November 2nd.

The event is on Friday November 4th. It is a great night out, with movies, dinner, magic, swimming and catching some passes with Cleveland Browns quarterback Seneca Wallace. Don't miss this opportunity for a little male bonding. To register, click HERE, or go to www.andrewsosborne.org and then to "News and Events" or to the "Calendar" page in the AOAPA section.
