Dear AOA Parents, 
  

What a fast school year it has been; the kids are bigger and wiser, and another year older.  As the year ends, I have a few comments and several people to thank:

 

  • Thanks to all of the parents who helped by chairing, assisting with or attending an AOAPA sponsored event this year.
  • A special thanks to Michelle Mulchin (EC) and Jennifer Veselko (K) for running the Mother/Daughter event on May 15th at Legacy Village. The ladies attending had a great time and AOA will receive approximately $200. 
  • A huge thank you to the rest of the AOAPA Board for working so hard to make sure things ran smoothly and got done when they needed to. Your input and help was and is invaluable; Gina Szalay (Middle and Upper School Vice President), Jackie Cerar (Lower School Vice President), Terri Benko (Treasurer) and Lori Schneider (Secretary).

  

You will receive a letter from me this summer asking you to think about ways that the AOAPA can improve the educational experience for our children. It may be programs to promote, supplies to purchase, speakers to invite or something we haven't already considered.  Your input is very relevant and much needed. Give it some thought.

 

Have a great summer, and thanks for all your help this year.

Don't forget to sort through your school uniforms. 
 Several drop-off dates are scheduled for this summer.

  

 

Order School Supplies Online

 


Unless you just love shopping for school supplies, we have a better way. This year for the first time we have partnered with the Innisbrook Company, which does many types of fundraisers for schools. One of these is a school supply program. Innisbrook has taken AOA's supply lists and bundled them into a package.

 

 

 

  • Go to www.innisbrook.com  and select "Order Your Child's Back-to-School Pack" 
  • Enter the AOA school code - 106511
  • Then select next year's grade and provide your credit card information
  • The supplies will be shipped directly to AOA
  • The supplies will be available for pick up at the uniform swap and at the Ice Cream Social in August
  • The AOAPA will make $2 per order

AOA Fall Social: "Save the Date"

 

 
"Save the Date" for Friday night, October 14, for the first annual AOA Fall Social.  This event will give the adults in the AOA community a chance to socialize and have fun. There will be a mystery to solve, a magician to entertain everyone, dancing, and plenty of food and drink.

 

More details to come, so please put this on your calendar.
