Greetings!  

Good day!  We are very pleased you are joining us for the Community Foundation Inspire, Invest Forever Gala and Auction to be held on September 15, 2012.  The planning committee and staff are working on the last details with a goal of providing you with a magnificent and special evening. 

For your comfort and safety, and to allow you to fully enjoy your night out, we plan to do the driving.  If you have not done so, please contact Leah at our office at (780) 538-2820 or e-mail leah@buildingtomorrotoday.com by Monday September 10 to arrange your scheduled transportation. Please provide any dietary restrictions by this time as well. 

You and your guest are cordially invited to attend a private reception which will take place at 5 pm in the reception area of the Grand Ballroom of the Grande Prairie Inn.  You will have the opportunity to meet Ian Bird, President and Chief Executive Officer of the Community Foundations of Canada along with our many sponsors and supporters.  This year, we have people travelling in from Peace River and Edmonton to attend this wonderful evening.

The Grande Prairie Inn is generously offering all gala guests a special rate of $99 per night so you and your guests will be able to stay overnight in their newly refurbished rooms.  To reserve your room, please contact the hotel directly (780.532.5221).  Be sure you let them know you are attending the gala so you can receive the special rate.

As well, the Edmonton Marriott Gardenside has graciously donated a package which one of our guests will win.  Everyone attending the gala will have their name placed in a "hat" and a draw will be made later in the evening.   Please ensure you have contacted Leah and provided her with the names of all your guests to ensure everyone is able to participate in the draw.
