As summer's end draws near and back to school kicks into full gear we are reviewing many applications from students for fall awards and bursaries. Thanks to the generosity of our many donors the Community Foundation is fortunate to be able to assist these deserving students with their back to school needs and expenses, investing in long term education for the Peace Country region.

The Community Foundation office is also still accepting grant applications from local charities until October 1st. Registered charities can access the grant application here.

Our 8th Annual Gala Evening and Auction is coming up September 18th. This event is a celebration of philanthropy in our community and a chance for the Community Foundation to raise awareness and share in our successes.The gala is also the Community Foundation's main annual fundraiser for operations. All proceeds from the evening help us continue to do the important work we carry out in our community everyday. We hope you can join us September 18th for an inspiring evening.
