The Museum's 31st Birthday Party was so much fun! We laughed, sipped wine, tasted many goodies, danced and laughed some more. You can see pictures and watch a video of the event if you missed it. Of course, I just had to take the opportunity to read a story! This time from Horton Hears Who! by Doctor Seuss - with that very famous line:
"A person's a person. No matter how small."
This group of donors, sponsors and supporters completely agreed. They express it everyday, not only with their dollars, but with their in-kind services, their supply donations, assistance with Calendar Fun Days and their partnerships on programming. The children of our community greatly benefit from this wonderful group of people.
It reminds me again of Horton, once all of Who-ville was safe. In case it's been a while since you've read Horton Hears a Who!, let me close with the closing phrase from that book: "From sun in the summer. From rain when it's fall-ish. I'm going to protect them. No matter how smallish!"
