Discussions with Donna Marie
If
you are a regular at the Museum or have just visited one of our daily programs,
you have probably met our Lead Educator, Megan Hosch-Schmitt. With a contagious
smile and a passion for integrating informal learning, she has "played" as an
important role in our education team. I count myself privileged to work
side by side with Megan for the last 2 years.
This
month we are wishing Megan GOOD LUCK! as she takes a leave from the Museum to
teach at a local elementary school during the fall semester. The Museum
values having licensed, experienced educators on our staff and support Megan in
this great opportunity to grow as an educator and maintain her
credentials.
We'll
miss having Megan in our daily programs but look forward to a continued
partnership with her as a contract educational consultant during her teaching term. Her
influence will continue to be noticed around the Museum!
