THANK YOU to everyone who took time to help name our newest exhibit, which happens to be our first OUTSIDE exhibit. Lil' Green Thumbs is scheduled to open on May 28, 2010 providing 3500 sq feet of gardening fun in the Seattle Center Square. This exhibit will focus on container gardening and how an urban garden can grow. From patio gardens to window sill planters, children will learn about soil, plants, composting and more. As we begin to set up our exhibit, we'll post pictures on our website and Facebook for you to enjoy.Lil' Green Thumbs! is similar in size to our traveling exhibit space, which is also getting ready for it's summer transition. During the summer months, our Go Figure! book series will be moved to the traveling exhibit space allowing all 5 interactive books to take you and your child on a literary adventure. We hope you will plan to join us this summer and participate in the many exciting new things we have planned. Clubs, Camps, Outdoor Exhibits, Projects, Special Visitors (like the Milk Mustache Mobile) and more will make this a summer to remember! |
