Dwight Hymans is promoted to deputy executive director 

Executive Director Donna DeAngelis announced the promotion of Dwight Hymans, who begins serving as ASWB's deputy executive director on Sept. 1, following the retirement of Kathleen Hoffman as deputy. Read more. 

 

The Executive Director Search Committee presented its recommendations to the Board of Directors in August. Regulation and Standards Committee develops language addressing e-practice for Delegate Assembly approval

The Regulation and Standards Committee's focus this year centered on electronic practice and ensuring the protection of the public through modifications to ASWB's Model Social Work Practice Act. Read more.

ACE program database of approved CE courses begins to fill

Building the platform to offer a searchable database of approved continuing education courses began two years ago. The latest achievement: opening the database to ACE-approved providers to add their courses. Read more.

 

ASWB's social work licensing exams now available at international test sites

Registered candidates living outside the United States and Canada now have access to testing sites at international locations through Pearson VUE Professional Centers. Read more.
