ASWB was saddened to learn of the death of Martha Baca-Montoya February 26 in Las Vegas, NM. Martha was the wife of ASWB Board of Directors member Donald Montoya, and a familiar face at  ASWB meetings.

A big part of ASWB's outreach efforts is focused on getting the regulatory word out to social work educational program students and faculty. Recently, ASWB staff and volunteers were on the road with the ASWB exhibit to attend the annual meeting of the social work Baccalaureate Program Directors (BPD), where ASWB Secretary Jenise Comer (MO, far right) caught up with students from her program at the University of Central Missouri.
