"I completed the bus conversion just before 9/11, so you will see it has a patriotic theme as well as unusual night lights."

The Woznicak's
We live in Bainbridge Township, where Geauga Lake was truly located. We are both retired. We have no children other than our two fur balls, Desi, a flamepoint Himalayan, and Luci, a black Persian. I retired first from construction, then from trucking. My interests are building things and woodworking. Linda retired from the Ohio Education Association. She keeps herself busy making beaded jewelry and substitutes now and then at OEA field offices.
Our motor home is a 40' 1982 MCI-9 bus. We purchased it from a bus company in Utah and I spent 3 years converting it into a motor home. We had it on the road for 4 or 5 years, but since diesel fuel has skyrocketed, it is too costly to keep it running when getting only 5/mpg, so decided to bring it here, along with our 23' Sunrunner boat. I completed the bus conversion just before 9/11, so you will see it has a patriotic theme as well as unusual night lights. Hopefully we will get good use of it here at Riverview.
My niece Kelly and Rick Trefny are also new to the park and have a space across from ours. We look forward to our first summer at Riverview RV Park and making new friends.

"Hello everyone at Riverview!
I'll be hanging out by the palm trees with a cold one."

Jason Peebles, Allison Borgat, Alex, Jasmin, Ethan & their dog Bear.
We are new this year to camping and Riverview. We've tried the tent camping thing at various times throughout the children's lives and each time has been equally as miserable. This entire camping thing started out at the Camper & RV show at the IX Center. We decided that this was something that we could do to help us unwind after a long week at work.
I am an Executive for UPS and Alison is in the medical field so by Friday, were both pretty stressed. Juggling careers, 3 kids, two of which are teenagers and a mixed bag of life will do that. So were very excited to have a place that we can come to on the weekends to just let go from the week and spend quality time with our kids and friends.
My name is Jason, my girlfriend is Alison, Our kids are Alex 13, Jasmin 16, and Ethan 7. Please have your kids stop by the campsite and take them to play somewhere. Please!! We also have a dog. He's all of about 6 lbs. He's a 1 1/2 year old Chaweenie. His name is Bear. Little dog, big name syndrome.
Feel free to stop by the campsite to chit chat. I'm a big talker and a bit of a comedian so if your looking for a good joke, stop by. I'll be hanging out by the palm trees with a cold one.
As I said before, we are brand new to the camper thing, so any advice is well taken. I don't have a boat yet but would like to have one by next season so we'll see what happens.
Thanks, and we look forward to meeting everyone!

"We are avid motorcyclists and sea kayakers."

"We are Jim and Marsha Bedford from Bay Village, OH."
We have been wintering in central Florida, living and volunteering at Lake Woodruff National Wildlife Refuge. We fell in love with the DeLand area in Florida and are in the process of moving there. Since our home is sold and our new home in Florida will not be completed until December, we find ourselves temporarily homeless. We toured a few campgrounds in the area and really liked what we saw at Riverview. We will make our permanent home in Florida and come north during the hot Florida summers in the future. We are looking forward to becoming a part of the Riverview seasonal "family." After all the craziness involved with packing and moving 1100 miles away, we are looking forward to a relaxing stay at Riverview. Accompanying us will be our two canine children: Bayley, an 11 ½ year old Portuguese Water Dog, and Alex, a 7 year old Chinese Crested Powder Puff. Both are registered therapy dogs and visit patients in hospitals. We have toured much of the United States in our motor home. We are avid motorcyclists and sea kayakers. Jim is a semi-retired gas combustion engineer. Marsha is retired after 32 years of managing rehabilitation counseling programs.

We are Joe and Lori Marchese and along with our our kids Jason (15) and Jenna (12) reside on site C-11. We have been transient campers for the past 5 years and finally decided to settle in.
We are anxious to get the boat on the water and get the kids out tubing, skiing, and fishing. So far we have been exceptionally pleased how warm and inviting everyone we meet has been. Please stop by, introduce yourselves, and join us for a drink and some good conversation. I'll also willingly accept any fishing or boating advise from you experts out there.
Hope to see and meet you soon! Joe and Lori Marchese of Campsite C-11

Mark and Meme Carr are high-school sweethearts who have been married 27 years, have two children (Matt, 22 and Libby, 19), and a new daughter-in-law, Lindsay. Mark's camping experiences started as a child with his father, mother, and older brother as they toured the US each summer. Years later, he wanted to share the camping experience with his children, so he refurbished his parent's 1973 slide-in camper and each summer he took his family camping for a few weeks. They are the newest owners of the 35' Sportmen in G-6 and look forward to escaping this summer to Vermilion so they can enjoy camping, fishing, and relaxing.
Mark is an avid angler who loves the competition fishing of walleye tournaments on Lake Erie and bass fishing with his fellow "baiters" at various locations in the US and Canada. Mark is an IT Manager for Mansfield News Journal a Gannett Company by day and a business owner by night. He manufactures lead in-line weights and is known on the fishing forums as Rednek.
Meme is the Adult Education Assistant Director for Ashland County-West Holmes Career Center and will complete her Master's Degree in Organizational Leadership from Malone University in November 2011. Mark supports Meme's degree work by going fishing, so she will have her quiet time for studying.
